NewsTrax lets anyone running a web site update their web pages from the web. News is stored in a db, catogorized and is easily added to any page by a simple include statement. It also includes a comments section for each news article where people can post comments on the particular news article. Also included is a search where you can do boolean searches through the news and comments. Of course more is being added daily.
Most scripts are free or open source. But some have the full source code available for download yet itīs required to have permission to use them and most often the price will be listed. If there is a script license e.g. GNU or GPL then it will also be listed. |
