The Stats counter is a page counter that does not require SSI to operate. It is invisible and collects data from your visitors like Screen resolution, Browser version/type, operating system and refering pages (and unique/non unique page counts). All of which is displayed in a password protected admin page. As an added benefit it can capture data often blocked by software firewalls. NEW: Now mod_perl capable, faster and cleaner then previous versions.
Most scripts are free or open source. But some have the full source code available for download yet itīs required to have permission to use them and most often the price will be listed. If there is a script license e.g. GNU or GPL then it will also be listed. |
