Discus Pro is a commercial add-on to the popular Discus WWW discussion board software package. Some additional features in Discus Pro include: Private reading topics, User self-registration (automatic, queued, or e-mail verified), Automatic archiving and pruning by conversation length, Manual archiving and pruning by date, IP banning, IP-based authentication, Message editing (users edit own messages within 30 minutes), Backup and restore built in, Attachment uploading (documents, text files, binaries), Log analysis tools and Preferences of users stored to control board options.
Most scripts are free or open source. But some have the full source code available for download yet itīs required to have permission to use them and most often the price will be listed. If there is a script license e.g. GNU or GPL then it will also be listed. |
