The Ultimate Bulletin Board (UBB) is one of the most popular commercial online discussion forum programs written entirely in Perl. Some of its main features include: Unlimited Forums, Integrated Search Engine, Lost password auto-email, Email notification of replies to topics, Option to email passwords to newly registered users, Private Forums, Email Ban Lists, Read-Only Archives, UBBFriend Feature: Email a Topic to Someone, Ability to close threads, Forum on/off switches, Support for HTML within messages and/or UBB Code, Forum moderator support, User registration system, Full-featured administration/customization through the browser, User profiles that can be updated by users, Ability to edit/delete/prune messages, Word censor capability and IP Logging/Display. The freeware version is limited to 9 forums and is missing most major features of the licensed version.
