Safe allows you to select colours from the 216 web safe colours and allocate them to various colour positions i.e. text, link, background, active, visited, hover etc. You can reorder the palette (RGB, BGR, GRB etc) to allow for easier selection. Also, you can enter any non web safe colour in HEX or RGB and get 8 web safe variations to choose from. Also outputs either the HTML body tag or CSS code with colours in place for you to cut 'n' paste. v1.9 update: Added the browser named colours (popup) and now has 18 positions for colour selection. Additional CSS elements have been added (scrollbar colours) and also a CSS test page (popup) for colour scheme preview.
Most scripts are free or open source. But some have the full source code available for download yet itīs required to have permission to use them and most often the price will be listed. If there is a script license e.g. GNU or GPL then it will also be listed. |
