Enterprise Messenger

A messenger program using PHP (called Enterprise Messenger). It works like Yahoo / MSN messenger, but with the concept of designing for companies. As long as you have a web server + PHP + mysql, you can use this program to create your own messenger server and clients can access this mesenger using a standard browser. Ccharacteristics: users are classified into companies and department; message can be sent to a predefined user group, all users, online user, whole company, particular department, etc in one go; you can see on the screen whether a particular user has read the message you sent; and much more.
Most scripts are free or open source. But some have the full source code available for download yet itīs required to have permission to use them and most often the price will be listed. If there is a script license e.g. GNU or GPL then it will also be listed. |
