Simple Mailing List

A mailing list script that has an extensive admin functions built-in and can be easily configured to use on your site. Doesn't need an SQL database to run, uses a simple text file as a database to store records. The commercial version has a more extended admin interface: add/bulk add/adit/delete/delete all options. When a user subscribes, it validates the email address entered and sends away a confirmation message. When the user confirms their subscription, their email address is added to the database. All notifications messages are easily customizable through the admin area. You can send emails in HTML or Plain text format. Useful for newsletters.
Most scripts are free or open source. But some have the full source code available for download yet itīs required to have permission to use them and most often the price will be listed. If there is a script license e.g. GNU or GPL then it will also be listed. |
