The new 2.6 version has a new ability to manage images when editing the news article. The main functions of this software are: to support different quantities of users with access to a news database administration of the site, to maintain news in any quantity of sections, to show a picture related to this news along with a news header, to store and display up to 10 additional pictures, to maintain a news archive, divided by sections, to support of temporary ban to publish selected news, hit statistics of viewed news automatically, to use a system of customizable templates, which allows adjusting easily or changing completely the news display design on the pages created.
Most scripts are free or open source. But some have the full source code available for download yet itīs required to have permission to use them and most often the price will be listed. If there is a script license e.g. GNU or GPL then it will also be listed. |
