This script is designed to take forums posts from one or more forum categories and arrange them in a news format. It works with vBulletin, phpBB, Invision Power Board (IPB), Web Burning Board (wbb), and YaBB SE. It will display any amount of posts on a page, and give recent headlines. News post display has title, news text, comment number, author, date, ect. It will automatically detect and display all smilies of the post and format popular bbcode! Everything is customizable in template files.
Most scripts are free or open source. But some have the full source code available for download yet itīs required to have permission to use them and most often the price will be listed. If there is a script license e.g. GNU or GPL then it will also be listed. |
