Newscaster 2.0 is a very simple, yet powerful news publishing script. It is easy to set-up, and simple to customize, along with a powerful admin page. Features include multiple users, editing/deleting of news posts, and flat-file storage. No database needed. Just a server or webhost with php enabled. A demo available at the author's site.
Most scripts are free or open source. But some have the full source code available for download yet itīs required to have permission to use them and most often the price will be listed. If there is a script license e.g. GNU or GPL then it will also be listed. |
